Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Cyber Systems Engineer to support information systems, networks, and security activities in Melbourne, FL. The role requires on-site work with potential travel and a current Secret clearance.

You will design, implement, and secure test environments, collaborate across teams, and advance cyber solutions for multi-domain systems while maintaining readiness for program needs.

Qualifications

• STEM degree with 3–5 years related engineering experience; or a Master's in STEM with 3+ years.
• Must hold a current U.S. Government Secret security clearance or be in Continuous Evaluation.
• Ability to obtain SAP clearance prior to start and maintain it during employment.
• Experience in Windows Server, PowerShell, VMware, and Active Directory administration.
• Familiarity with web app security tools and enterprise monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab infrastructure design, deployment, configuration, and management.
• Lead desktop virtualization and host system administration.
• Configure and operate networks and security for multiple development environments.
• Design software tools to assist customer development and maintenance teams.
• Support integration of avionics systems into test environments and simulations.
