Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer (Principal or Senior Principal) to lead System Security Engineering across the system lifecycle in Melbourne, FL. The role focuses on Program Protection, Supply Chain Risk Management, and Counterfeit Parts Prevention, with requirements for cyber security implementations per US government standards.

Responsibilities include developing security plans, performing vulnerability assessments, and guiding junior engineers within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a STEM degree with relevant experience (as stated for Principal or Senior Principal).
• Experience with US Government SSE activities and RMF processes is required.
• Experience developing and managing Program Protection, SCRM, and counterfeit prevention plans.

Responsibilities

• Leverage background in Program Protection, SCRM, and counterfeit prevention to support lifecycle security.
• Develop and update Program Protection Implementation Plans and SCRM plans.
• Perform risk assessments and propose mitigations for supply chain vulnerabilities.
• Develop BOMs and conduct criticality analysis of system components.
• Monitor changes and review vulnerability scans; support supplier audits.
