Job summary

Mission Support and Test Services (MSTS) is seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Analyst - Security Engineering to safeguard our infrastructure from cyber threats. The role designs, implements, and enhances security measures protecting data, networks, systems, and applications across the organization.

You will work with ISSM and ISSOs, apply NIST standards, conduct assessments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy firewalls, SIEM, EDR, MFA, and encryption solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in a computer-related field with 5+ years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, SSL/TLS).
• Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies (SAML, OAUTH, SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, WAF, EDR).
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) from a security perspective.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support ISSM and ISSOs with their assigned duties.
• Maintain relationships with Cybersecurity staff and customers.
• Apply NIST security standards to harden information infrastructure.
• Conduct policy compliance tasks and site surveys for non-compliance.
• Perform Security Test and Evaluations of information systems.
• Collaborate to design, deploy, and maintain security controls.
• Complete certification and accreditation of information systems.
• Assist with data calls, FISMA reporting, and audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
