Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) in the United States is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst - Security Engineering. The role focuses on safeguarding infrastructure, designing and managing security controls, and ensuring compliance with federal standards.

The successful candidate will support the ISSM/ISSO teams, apply NIST guidance, and work with cross-functional groups to harden networks, systems, and applications.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in a computer-related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of network security principles, protocols and technologies.
• Hands-on with security tools such as SIEM, DLP, WAF, EDR and vulnerability management.
• Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) from a security perspective.

Responsabilidades

• Support ISSM and ISSOs with assigned duties and security tasks.
• Apply NIST standards to harden information infrastructure and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Perform certification, accreditation, and security testing of information systems.
• Design and maintain security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, and MFA.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and secure design.
