Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an Associate Vice President for Cyber Detect and Respond to own delivery, strategy and financial performance of managed SOC engagements. You will lead teams onshore and offshore to tackle advanced cybersecurity challenges and drive ongoing improvements in detection, response, and governance.

The role requires 10+ years in security operations, strong leadership, and the ability to steer large, distributed programs while managing client relationships and budgets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security monitoring, security engineering, or security analytics.
• 10+ years leading cybersecurity managed-services delivery with client delivery, staffing and financial management.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, mathematics, decision sciences, risk management or engineering.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and potential immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end managed SOC delivery, including SLA performance, service quality, protection of client data and continual improvement.
• Translate threat intelligence into detection logic, use cases, response playbooks and client reporting; expand coverage with UEBA.
• Set and execute roadmaps for Cyber Detect and Respond services including SIEM modernization, cloud migrations, automation, and SOAR.
• Lead onshore and offshore teams; oversee performance, development, escalation, and complex investigations.
• Own engagement financial performance including margin, utilization, forecasting, account planning, and client relationships.
