Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field and eight to twelve years of related experience or equivalent experience.
• Certifications as required by the role are expected.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate complex procedures.

Responsibilities

• Impacts multiple areas, functions or processes.
• Designs interfaces between ERP and legacy systems.
• Provides production support and resolves issues in moderately complex applications.
• Uses back-end and front-end languages to optimize performance, security, and scalability.
• Codes programming logic following design specifications by senior staff.
• Maintains up-to-date records of issues with existing code.
• Monitors quality and performance of applications through testing and maintenance.
• Develops and maintains applications for business processes and systems.
• Adheres to development best practices and represents IT on projects.
• Identifies opportunities for process enhancements to drive efficiency.
• Suggests viable solutions to resolve issues with existing software.
• Forecasts, models and uses advanced analytical tools.
