Delta Defense LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to advance a modern security engineering program across product engineering, cloud infrastructure, and analytics teams.

You will lead secure design reviews, threat modeling, and automated security testing within CI/CD to protect our members and data, working closely with engineering to balance risk and velocity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 3+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience across multiple domains.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS Controls, PCI DSS).
• Experience securing applications, APIs, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead application security across SDLC with secure design reviews and CI/CD integration.
• Design and tune web app and API security controls; develop secure-by-design standards.
• Plan and perform penetration testing; prioritize findings by business risk.
• Develop and enforce AI security governance and data classification policies.
• Perform security assessments of RAG and large language model applications.
• Contribute to IR, detection engineering, and vulnerability management programs.
