Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
• Sustained record at AI and cybersecurity intersection with demonstrated new capabilities.
• Deep cybersecurity expertise across threat hunting, detection, and response.
• Experience building end-to-end AI systems combining models, tools, data, and execution environments.
• Strong experimental rigor and evidence-based decision making.
• Experience taking AI systems from prototype to production in high-volume security contexts.
• Leadership across teams and mentoring senior researchers/engineers.
• Experience with autonomous or multi-agent security systems and adversary simulation.

Responsibilities

• Define the future of cybersecurity AI and identify new capabilities early.
• Invent and build end-to-end cybersecurity AI systems across models, tools, and environments.
• Improve system behavior through investigations, simulations, and expert feedback.
• Establish rigorous evaluations, benchmarks, and reliable performance metrics.
• Set technical direction for the Lab and mentor researchers and engineers.
• Turn research breakthroughs into scalable CrowdStrike capabilities at scale.
• Represent CrowdStrike through publications, open-source work, and collaborations.
