Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Distinguished Engineer to research, define, and build the future of cybersecurity AI within our Cybersecurity Superintelligence Lab. You will lead frontier AI research, combine cybersecurity expertise with large-scale systems engineering, and guide research from prototype to scalable capabilities at CrowdStrike.

You will mentor senior researchers and engineers, establish rigorous evaluations, and publish/open-source contributions to advance the AI and cybersecurity

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Neuroscience, or related quantitative field.
• Sustained record of original work at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity, including new capabilities or applications.
• Hands-on experience architecting and building end-to-end AI systems that combine models, tools, data, and execution environments.
• Experience taking sophisticated ML/AI systems from research to real-world deployment.
• Demonstrated technical leadership across teams and mentoring senior researchers.

Responsibilities

• Define the future of cybersecurity AI and track frontier AI advances.
• Identify new capabilities and use cases to transform defender operations.
• Invent and build cybersecurity AI systems and end-to-end applications.
• Design systems that reason across context, tools, data, and execution environments.
• Lead research directions, mentor teams, and drive prototypes to production.
