Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. Albany is seeking a CVD Equipment Development Engineer for Advanced Memory Pathfinding. You will build and refine first-of-a-kind CVD systems supporting High-NA EUV and next‑gen memory programs at the Albany NanoTech complex, collaborating across Process Development, Facilities, and NY CREATES teams.

You will lead qualification, installation, and performance strategies, shaping supplier roadmaps and enabling transfer readiness for future memory technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 5+ years in semiconductor equipment engineering.
• Experience developing, installing, qualifying or troubleshooting complex semiconductor equipment.
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and mature first-of-a-kind CVD equipment and chamber capabilities for advanced memory tech.
• Collaborate with suppliers to influence hardware roadmaps and technology deployment.
• Support installation, qualification, and readiness of equipment for development and manufacturing.
• Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions for equipment issues.
• Coordinate with Process Development, NY builds, Facilities and other teams for successful tech transfer.
