Job summary

Hydro Extrusion USA, LLC is seeking aSenior Engineer for Customer Technical Support to promote technical sales and provide best-in-class CTS for recycled, greener aluminum products. The role covers North America with travel to customer sites to support alloy optimization and new product opportunities.

The Senior Engineer will engage with customers, support the sales team with technical expertise, and participate in industry forums to advance Hydro's sustainability goals and market leadership.

Qualifications

Master's or doctorate in Material Science/Metallurgy.
Minimum 5 years' experience in the aluminum extrusion industry.
Willingness to travel 30-50%.
Strong metallurgical knowledge and technical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Execute CTS programs to position Hydro Aluminum Metals NA as the preferred supplier.
Support sales by providing technical expertise to identify alloy needs and new product opportunities.
Collaborate with production units to translate customer needs into specifications.
Manage and resolve customer claims and feedback.
Represent Hydro in industry and technical forums.
