Job summary

Hydro Extrusion USA, LLC is seeking a Senior Engineer for Customer Technical Support to promote technical sales and provide best-in-class CTS. Location options include Cassopolis, MI; Henderson, KY; or Remote, with a salary range of $150,000–$160,000 per year.

The successful candidate will have a Master’s or PhD in a relevant field, 5+ years in aluminum extrusion, and will travel as required. This role reports to the North America department.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or doctorate from an accredited University is required.
• Material Science/Metallurgy background is required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the aluminum extrusion industry is desirable
• Willingness to travel as required supporting customers (minimum of 30-50% travel)

Responsibilities

• CTS work would consist of executing technical services programs towards customers to ensuring Hydro Aluminum Metals NA is the preferred supplier for all their value added and regular high quality metal needs.
• Offering extensive support on metallurgical matters.
• Be the communication link between customer needs and requirements towards the production units - cast houses.
• Customer requirements of the product; Continuous improvements and new product offering; Maintenance of product quality and market quality demands.
• Manage and resolve customer claims and complaints.
• Use AMBS processes and procedure in executing all activities.
• Define and follow-up R&D projects and ensure customer and market driven programs are executed.
• Participate and take active role in Industry and Technical forums to influence the agenda.
