Zusammenfassung

Hydro Extrusion USA, LLC is seeking a Senior Engineer for Customer Technical Support (CTS) to promote technical sales of value-added aluminum products. The role supports customers in their development and growth with focus on recycled, greener and more sustainable offerings, and may involve remote work or locations in Henderson, KY or Casopolis, MI.

The candidate should have a Master’s degree or doctorate in Materials Science/Metallurgy, at least 5 years in the aluminum extrusion industry, and

Qualifikationen

Master's degree or doctorate required.
Material Science/Metallurgy background required.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in the aluminum extrusion industry desirable.
Willingness to travel as required (30–50% travel)

Aufgaben

Promote technical sales and marketing of value-added Hydro metals with focus on margin and volume.
Provide best in class Customer Technical Support to customers.
Execute CTS programs with head of CTS and sales managers; assist sales with technical expertise.
Support customers on metallurgical issues and communicate needs to production units.
Manage and resolve customer claims and work with cast houses on product quality and improvements.
Define and follow-up R&D projects aligned with customer and market needs.
Participate in industry forums to influence the agenda.
