Job summary

Graybar in Houston is seeking a Senior Customer Service Representative to be the primary liaison for customers, ensuring total satisfaction. You will enter orders, respond to requests, and provide timely, professional support while promoting Graybar goods and services on inbound calls.

In this role, you will assist with product selection and application, coordinate orders, pricing, expediting, billing, and claims, and maintain exceptional customer relations. Shift is Mon-Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Customer service orientation is required.
• Ability to handle a range of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact.
• 6+ years of experience preferred.
• High School education is required; 2/4 year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key contact for customers and enter orders efficiently.
• Handle incoming/outgoing calls and written correspondence with timely follow-up.
• Assist in selling Graybar goods and services on inbound calls.
• Provide product selection and application support.
• Coordinate requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit and claims.
