Job summary

Greenbrier International INC. is seeking a Senior Analyst in Customer Insights & Analytics to analyze data streams and expose white space and assortment opportunities acrossDollar Tree categories.

You will support merchandising decisions, build narratives, and develop dashboards to drive traffic and sales while informing marketing strategies. The role requires a BA/BS with 1–3 years of experience, strong analytical skills, and hands-on data mining using Nielsen/Circana/Numerator/1010data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 1–3 years experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Able to generate and evaluate hypotheses and create narratives for senior leaders.
• Hands-on data mining experience using Nielsen, Circana, Numerator, or 1010data.
• Detail-oriented; comfortable with numerical data and communications.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willing to relocate to Chesapeake, VA.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of merchandising strategies with actionable insights.
• Conduct rigorous analytics using third-party sources and customer research.
• Pull data from multiple sources, build narratives, and communicate trends.
• Develop and maintain daily/weekly reporting tools and Power BI dashboards.
• Organize large datasets to inform white space and assortment recommendations.
• Define customer segmentation to inform marketing plans and improve results.
• Provide data-driven content for senior leader presentations.
• Support customer research initiatives and marketing effectiveness analyses.
• Lead training on data interpretation for merchandising and marketing teams.
• Identify data collection improvements to boost team efficiency.
