Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Analyst 2 in Customer Insights & Analytics to analyze internal and external data for pricing, assortment opportunities, and trend analysis. You will support merchants, build narratives, and deliver actionable insights to improve traffic and sales across Dollar Tree categories.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of experience, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and the ability to relocate to Chesapeake, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 1-3 years experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with ability to generate and evaluate hypotheses.
• Detail-oriented with comfort working with numerical data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated initiative, independent thinking and teamwork.
• Willingness to relocate to Chesapeake, VA.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support merchandising strategies by delivering timely, accurate insights from data and research.
• Utilize third-party data sources (Nielsen, Numerator, Circana) for analytics initiatives.
• Pull data from multiple sources, perform deep analysis, build narratives communicating trends.
• Develop and maintain daily/weekly reporting tools and Power BI dashboards.
• Create white space and assortment recommendations to drive traffic and sales.
• Incorporate customer insights to define segmentation and inform marketing plans.
• Summarize insights for senior leaders with data-driven content and recommendations.
• Assist in customer research initiatives to optimize marketing strategies.
