Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Market Strategy Analyst to develop advanced spatial and quantitative analytics for real estate planning, market optimization, and new store site selection. The role supports strategic growth through market planning, sales forecasting, and cannibalization analysis.

You will leverage demographic, mobility, and store performance data to guide store placement and network optimization, building scalable analytical solutions and dashboards for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• 3-5 years of experience in real estate analytics, site selection, or market planning.
• Experience with site selection, trade area analysis, and location intelligence methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and quantitative reasoning skills.
• High initiative and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop market optimization processes to identify optimal locations for new store growth.
• Produce sales forecasts for proposed locations using statistical, geographic, and operational factors.
• Identify and forecast cannibalization effects and network impacts.
• Develop, evaluate, and improve predictive and statistical models.
• Build dashboards and executive presentations for Real Estate leadership and Finance.
• Source and integrate enterprise data for analytics workflows.
• Collaborate with GIS, Data, Finance, and Real Estate teams on cross-functional projects.
