Job summary

Citi in Tampa, FL seeks a senior Custody Service Lead Analyst to drive client resolution and support for Global and Local Custody clients across Transaction Management, Cash/FX, and Asset Servicing.

The role emphasizes leading complex client queries, managing risk, and delivering high-quality service while coordinating with the Customer Service team. Relevant custody experience and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in global financial institutions, within Custody operations.
• Demonstrated experience working as part of an effective and diverse team across a global footprint.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end operations processes and products of the Custody Business (Settlements, Asset Servicing, Cash/FX, and Tax).
• Experience with fraud mitigation and risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, drive results, and implement change in a rapidly changing, goal-oriented environment.
• Proven problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Proven crisis management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and exercise business plans, policies, and procedures to improve efficiencies and client service.
• Manage a product or process within the Custody infrastructure, advising on decisions and serving as escalation for complex queries.
• Analyze Custody operational flows for risks, ensure execution, and remediate aged queries to maximize client satisfaction.
• Identify gaps in authentication strategies and root-causes of queries, developing solutions to eliminate them.
• Balance fraud risk, operational cost, and customer experience.
• Update the Manager Control Assessment (MCA) process to capture related risks.
• Escalate, manage and report control issues with transparency while safeguarding Citi and its clients.
