Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Estimator to develop comprehensive project estimates, coordinate with the project team, and lead the estimation process from plan to final cost. You will analyze risks, maintain local rate libraries, and advise on contingencies.

The role requires robust CSA/MEP knowledge and proficiency with major estimating tools. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in construction estimation, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to build strong client

Qualifications

7+ years of estimator experience in construction.
Knowledge of CSA and MEP disciplines.
Experience with estimating systems: Accubid, Sage Timberline, InEight, CostX.
Degree or equivalent in a construction-related discipline.
RICS/CEP/CPE chartered or pursuing chartered status.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
Strong relationship builder with team and clients.

Responsibilities

Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team.
Lead the development of the total project estimate.
Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, including cost contingency recommendations.
Analyze and recommend solutions to problems with varying complexity per guidelines.
Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates.
