Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Cryogenic Responsible Engineer to lead the liquid subsystem baseline, oversee procurement, and own hardware through cradle to grave for the Lunar Permanence program. You will collaborate across teams to design, build, test, and integrate cryogenic components on lunar vehicle systems.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive cryogenic experience, and ability to drive procurement and verification in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cryogenic fluids and mechanical systems/components.
• Experience developing, integrating and certifying aerospace systems for flight.
• Experience leading small teams and coordinating with subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Define, own, and control the liquid subsystem baseline with technical leadership.
• Manage procurements and hardware dependencies for subsystem deliveries.
• Lead technical trades on cryogenic systems to meet vehicle and customer needs.
• Own hardware drawing release, manufacturing plans, and integration onto the vehicle.
• Lead internal and external cryogenic development meetings; cradle-to-grave ownership of cryogenic system.
