Job summary

Sompo International's AgriSompo North America is seeking a skilled Crop Insurance Underwriter to join our Southeast team. The role focuses on reviewing contracts, production and acreage data, and applying RMA rules to policy decisions while delivering outstanding service to agents and clients.

The position can be fully remote across MS, KY, GA, TN, or NC, offering a collaborative, risk-aware environment with opportunities for professional growth and ongoing training in crop insurance principles.

Qualifications

• Required high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in crop insurance.
• Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to communicate with agents and clients clearly.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze and inspect insurance contracts, applications, production and acreage reports, and perform policy reviews under RMA guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service to agents and clients.
• Meet agent deadlines established by Risk Management Agency policy and procedures.
• Data entry of policy information and production data with accuracy, correcting errors as needed.
• Attend training classes to further education and knowledge within crop insurance.
