Sompo International is seeking an experienced Crop Insurance Underwriter for our Southeast team. This role supports review, analysis and processing of insurance contracts, applications, production and acreage reports, while delivering exceptional customer service.

The position can be based fully remote in Mississippi and neighboring states, offering a flexible remote work arrangement within the Southeast region.

Qualifications

• Experience in crop insurance.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to analyze policies and data.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze and inspect insurance contracts, applications, production and acreage reports, and related processing.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to agents and clients.
• Apply underwriting rules and RMA guidelines to policy forms and documents.
• Meet deadlines set by Risk Management Agency (RMA).
• Data entry of policy information and production data with accuracy.
