Sompo Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Crop Insurance Underwriter to support our Southeast team. The role involves reviewing insurance contracts, production and acreage reports, and collaborating with agents to ensure accurate documentation.

This position offers a fully remote option within Mississippi, Kentucky, Georgia, Tennessee, or North Carolina. Ideal candidates have crop insurance experience and strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills to assess coverage, meet deadlines, and

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in crop insurance required.
• Preferred 0-3 years related experience.

Responsabilités

• Review, analyze and inspect insurance contracts, applications, production reports, acreage reports and related documents.
• Research and process written agreements and policy reviews.
• Obtain documentation from agents and follow up on clarifications.
• Meet agent deadlines per RMA policy and procedure.
• Data entry of policy and production data, ensuring accuracy.
• Evaluate coverage amounts to determine benefits.
• Maintain professional relationships with agents.
• Answer calls and emails from agents; provide accurate information.
• Verify policy forms per RMA guidelines and approve acceptance.
