Job summary

Salute Inc. seeks a Principal Critical Facilities Engineer (SME) to serve as the senior technical advisor to the Director of Operations and the Critical Facilities Manager.

You will establish engineering standards, maintenance strategies, reliability programs, and governance to maximize uptime. The role requires expert knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, EPMS/BMS, Fire Life Safety, and reliability, with 12+ years in mission-critical engineering and 15+ years in hyperscale data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 12+ years in mission-critical engineering.
• 15+ years in hyperscale data centers.
• PE, CMRP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Expert knowledge of electrical, mechanical, EPMS/BMS, Fire Life Safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical authority for all critical infrastructure systems.
• Advise the Director and CFM on engineering strategy, reliability, and technical risk.
• Provide 24/7 technical consultation during major incidents and outages.
• Support commissioning, expansions, and operational readiness.
• Own the site's Maintenance Readiness Program and lead reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Verify work packages include procedures, permits, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
