Job summary

Vantage is seeking a Lead Critical Facilities Engineer to orchestrate maintenance for data center infrastructure in Santa Clara, CA. The role emphasizes uptime, safety, and high-standard service in a fast-paced environment.

As a on-site lead, you will supervise a team of electrical and mechanical engineers, manage multiple projects, and ensure documentation and procedures (MOPs/SOPs/EOPs) are current and effective for mission-critical operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on maintenance of industrial electrical/mechanical systems.
• Experience with emergency generators, MV/LV switchgear, UPS, PDUs.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of mechanical/electrical data center systems.
• Technical writing and creating SOPs/MOPs/EOPs.
• Licensing in progress or to obtain within a reasonable time.
• Reliable transportation for shifts and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work on shift and between shifts to ensure seamless operations.
• Act as primary escalation point for on-shift CFEs.
• Assign tasks to on-shift CFEs and drive projects to completion.
• Develop and review MOPs/SOPs/EOPs for critical work evolutions.
