Job summary

PTR Global is seeking a Critical Facilities Engineer / Facility Operations Lead to support a mission-critical data center environment. You will oversee safe and reliable operation of electrical, mechanical, and cooling infrastructure to maximize uptime.

The role requires deep hands-on knowledge of UPS systems, generators, switchgear, HVAC, cooling towers, and building management systems, with a focus on preventive maintenance, incident response, and continuous improvement in an onsite

Qualifications

Experience supporting critical facilities or data centers.
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical building systems.
Experience with UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC, and cooling systems.
Familiarity with MOPs, SOPs and EOPs preferred.
Experience with hyperscale or colocation data centers preferred.
Liquid cooling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead daily operations of critical facility infrastructure.
Monitor, operate, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems.
Support power distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC, and cooling systems.
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance and vendor activities.
Develop and follow operating procedures, ensuring safety and standards.
Support infrastructure upgrades, commissioning, and continuous improvement.
Respond to alarms, troubleshoot issues, and support restorations.
Maintain documentation, maintenance records, and reporting.
