Job summary

Vantage Data Centers LLC in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Critical Facilities Engineer to join their on-site facilities team. The role focuses on hands-on maintenance of data center infrastructure including electrical and mechanical systems to ensure high uptime and reliability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance and repair experience with industrial electrical and mechanical systems in mission-critical facilities.
• Experience with emergency generators, switchgear, MV/LV distribution, UPS, HVAC, and building automation systems.
• Ability to read commercial blueprints and electrical schematics; familiar with safety and procedure standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair critical data center systems (UPS, PDU, generators, building controls).
• Develop reliability and uptime reports and coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
• Create and update MOPs/SOPs/EOPs for maintenance activities and emergencies.
• Support on-call duties and respond to safety or emergency situations.
