Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Shift Supervisor for our data center operations in Kentucky. You will lead a team of 1–4 technicians, coordinate maintenance, monitor critical infrastructure, and ensure 24/7 uptime in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and life-safety systems, plus strong leadership and customer service skills. Navy Nuclear experience is a plus; Visio and AutoCAD proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

3+ years of data center experience.
5-10+ years of critical environment or building engineering experience.
Experience in operations, maintenance and/or building engineering.
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and critical infrastructure systems.
Navy Nuclear experience is preferred.
Experience using SOPs/MOPs/EOPs/MMRs and LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate 1–4 technicians during a shift.
Support operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, cooling, life safety, and critical power systems.
Monitor alarms and prioritize uptime and protection of critical load.
Utilize CMMS to track maintenance, work orders, inspections, and labor.
Follow SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, MMRs, and Lockout/Tagout processes.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams on maintenance and projects.
Serve as customer-facing contact for colocation clients and document operations.
