Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Critical Facility Technician Lead to oversee on-shift technicians and coordinate incident response in a 24/7 data center environment. You will supervise maintenance on UPS, generators, switchgear, PDUs, HVAC, and related controls systems.

The role requires leading teams, ensuring safe work practices, and maintaining accurate documentation and turnover notes for continuous operation.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience operating and maintaining data center or critical facilities infrastructure.
• Experience leading shift-based technicians or senior technicians.
• Familiarity with NFPA, NEC, OSHA and Uptime Institute practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations for critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• Monitor systems via BMS/EPMS/DCIM; respond to alarms and incidents.
• Provide day-to-day technical guidance to on-shift technicians.
