Job summary

Serverfarm is seeking a Senior Data Center Operations lead to oversee critical facility systems and shift-based performance. You will direct electrical and mechanical operations, monitor alarms, and ensure safe, reliable power and cooling across UPS, generators, switchgear, PDUs and related infrastructure.

The role emphasizes leadership, incident response, and adherence to LOTO and PPE standards, with focus on continuous improvement and documentation of maintenance and procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data center or mission-critical operations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read one-line diagrams and OEM documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations leadership and monitoring shifts.
• Operate and maintain UPS, generators, switchgear, PDU/STS and related systems.
• Lead response to alarms, events and abnormal conditions.
• Oversee maintenance activities and change management.
• Enforce safety, LOTO and PPE requirements.
