Job summary

Friend Health – HRDI in Chicago, IL is seeking a Project Supervisor to oversee daily operations of mobile crisis response teams funded under Illinois Program 591. You will ensure crisis services meet state regulations and grant deliverables while providing clinical oversight to crisis responders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in behavioral health or crisis intervention settings.
• Experience in managing and coordinating mobile crisis or emergency mental health services.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care, suicide prevention, de-escalation techniques, and crisis stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of crisis response teams, including scheduling, shift coverage and field deployment.
• Ensure 24/7 availability of mobile crisis services in compliance with Program 591 requirements.
• Provide real-time consultation, debriefing, and clinical support to staff during and after crisis calls.
• Facilitate regular team meetings, case reviews, and training to ensure quality care and staff development.
• Ensure all individuals referred to the crisis system are served promptly and according to protocol.
