Job summary

Qualifications

• Extensive and varied experience in commercial and consumer credit products.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and accounting rules; regulatory guidance specific to the internal credit risk review function.
• Advanced skills in financial analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to interact and clearly communicate at all levels of the organization.
• Proven skills at developing strong relationships with staff, peers, and leadership.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, with strong skills in conflict resolution, performance management, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage Credit Risk Review Examiners to perform independent loan reviews.
• Review large and complex non-Homogeneous loans for risk assessment.
• Ensure adherence to credit policies, underwriting guidelines, and regulations.
• Coordinate workflow for a team and summarize results for senior management.
• Develop department operating plans and annual exam plan.
• Mentor and develop staff; coach others as needed.
• Draft and approve project plans, samples, and reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to discuss credit risk issues.
• Maintain knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/economics
