Sunflower Bank, N.A. in Denver, CO is seeking a Credit Risk Review Manager to lead a team of analysts and ensure adherence to banking policies and risk guidelines.

You will provide input on complex, high-value reviews and partner with Relationship Managers, Credit Officers, and Risk Management to strengthen credit processes and reporting.

This full-time role requires a finance or economics degree and significant CRE/CI experience, with strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics or equivalent.
• Five or more years of experience in financial institutions or regulatory supervision.
• Three or more years of experience managing staff.
• Strong knowledge of CRE, General C&I, with SBA lending, leverage finance, agriculture, warehouse lending, etc.
• Understanding of credit processes incl. underwriting, credit policies, portfolio management, and loan losses.

Responsibilities

• Manage independent loan reviews and analyze borrower financials, collateral, and repayment capacity.
• Review reports regarding quality and trends in the loan portfolio.
• Provide credit risk management input to policy and regulatory discussions.
• Conduct workout credit discussions and Credit Policy issues with management.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Credit Officers, and Risk Management to strengthen credit processes.
• Report exposures to senior management.
