The role directs and manages a team to deliver independent risk assessments and support strategic decisions. You will provide input on highly complex reviews, collaborate with Relationship Managers, Credit Officers, and Risk Management to strengthen credit processes and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required.
• 5+ years in financial institutions or supervisory roles.
• 3+ years of staff management experience.
• Strong understanding of credit processes and risk ratings.
• Knowledge of federal and state banking laws related to credit risk.

Responsibilities

• Manage independent loan reviews and analyze borrower financials and collateral.
• Review loan portfolio quality and trends; provide risk insights.
• Conduct workout discussions and policy issue resolution with leadership.
• Oversee major and complex loans and escalate exposures to management.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Risk Management to strengthen processes.
