Sunflower Bank N.A. is seeking a Credit Risk Review Manager in Denver, CO. The role leads a team of credit risk analysts to ensure loans comply with lending policies and risk guidelines, while guiding strategic decisions in this function.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive CRE/C&I credit knowledge, financial analysis skills, and experience managing staff. This is a full-time position based in Denver with a strong focus on risk governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics or equivalent
• Five or more years in financial institutions or regulatory supervisory
• Three or more years of staff management
• Thorough knowledge of credit risk processes and lending policies

Responsibilities

• Manage independent loan review and risk ratings with attention to borrower financials, collateral, and repayment capacity.
• Review portfolio quality trends and provide credit risk input.
• Lead discussions on policy issues with management and risk committees.
• Oversee major and complex loans and report exposures to leadership.
• Maintain ongoing oversight of high-risk credits and ensure consistent reporting.
• Advise on improvements to credit processes and controls.
• Collaborate with Credit Officers and Relationship Managers to address issues.
