You will guide complex reviews and contribute to strategic risk decisions while maintaining strong relationships with lending staff and management.

The role requires deep knowledge of commercial credit processes, CRE and C&I products, and regulatory expectations, with a track record of improving risk controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics or equivalent.
• 5+ years in financial institutions or regulatory supervision.
• 3+ years of staff management.
• Commercial credit expertise in CRE and C&I, SBA lending, leverage finance, etc.
• Solid knowledge of credit processes, policies, and risk ratings.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage a team of credit risk review analysts.
• Ensure loans comply with lending policies and risk guidelines.
• Provide input on complex, high-value reviews and strategic decisions.
• Review loan portfolio quality trends and report exposures to management.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Risk Management to fix issues.
