Job summary

Busey Bank is seeking a Credit and Audit Review Analyst IV to assess credit risks and the quality of the loan portfolio through file reviews, stress testing, and timely reporting to the Director of Loan Review.

The role involves preparing monthly loan reports, supporting risk-grade changes, and collaborating with committees on special projects while mentoring junior analysts and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

Knowledge of credit fundamentals, loan structures and credit analytic ratios.
Strong basic accounting skills and understanding of financial statements.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
Experience training and supervising junior staff is a plus.
Experience with loan review processes and quality control is desirable.

Responsibilities

Assess credit risk and overall loan portfolio quality through file examinations and stress testing.
Prepare monthly/quarterly loan reports to support testing and analytics.
Lead and participate in risk grade change meetings with Lending and Credit teams.
Develop training materials and mentor junior Credit/Audit Review Analysts.
Suggest process improvements to the Director and drive project management tasks.
