Job summary

Busey Bank is seeking a Credit and Audit Review Analyst IV to assess credit risk and overall loan portfolio quality. The role involves loan file and portfolio examinations, stress testing, and timely reporting to the Director of Loan Review.

Responsibilities include supporting 3rd party reviews, preparing periodic loan reports, participating in risk grade changes, and mentoring junior analysts. Strong background in credit fundamentals and 10+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics.
• 10+ years of commercial loan review and/or credit analysis experience including training/supervising junior.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and financial statement concepts.
• Understanding of credit fundamentals including loan structures and analytic ratios.
• Familiarity with loan documentation and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Support 3rd party review consultants: project setup, access requests, training, materials, and quality control of financial exceptions.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly loan reports for testing and analytics.
• Participate in risk grade change meetings with Commercial Lending and Credit Administration.
• Collaborate with committees or project groups and mentor junior staff.
• Develop training programs and provide mentoring to Credit/Audit Review Analysts I–III.
• Perform quality control reviews and feedback to Directors.
• Manage projects including sample selection and status reporting.
• Present management summaries for Loan Review and special projects.
• Attend quarterly management meetings and support due diligence for acquisitions.
