Job summary

Truist is seeking a senior credit risk leader to partner with Line of Business leaders to shape and execute credit strategy in line with risk tolerance. You will guide development through training and coaching, leveraging broad credit experience to uphold strong risk culture and responsible lending across the organization.

The role requires deep expertise in credit judgment, portfolio oversight, and cross-functional collaboration with Product, LOB, and Credit Delivery teams to maintain asset

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training.
• 12 years of experience in lending and/or credit.
• Widespread financial credit risk and regulatory knowledge.
• Solid accounting/financial analysis skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Exercise prudent credit judgment and guidance through loan authority.
• Serve as risk approver for hospital, higher education, government and senior care lines.
• Oversee large/specialized portfolios to ensure asset quality and risk management.
• Provide risk leadership and mentorship to Credit Delivery teams.
• Stay updated on laws, regulations, and market trends to ensure compliance.
