Job summary

Truist is seeking an experienced professional to underwrite and manage the most complex commercial credit exposures within Dealer Services. You will lead end-to-end underwriting, assess risk, structure loans, and collaborate with internal partners to deliver financing solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes portfolio management, client interaction, and proactive risk identification across diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field and 7+ years of commercial/Dealer Services credit analysis experience.
• Mastery level proficiency with MS Office desktop applications.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills are essential.
• Sound credit skills and attention to detail required.
• Ability to prioritize workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Underwrites, structures, and documents all prospect and client transactions for complex deals.
• Manages portfolio risk, conducts annual reviews, and ensures regulatory and compliance adherence.
• Expands client relationships through direct calling and credit policy-informed solutions.
• Partners with Investment Banking and other teams to deliver complex financing solutions.
• Mentors junior PMs, Associates, and Analysts and participates in performance processes.
