Job summary

Truist is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Officer to oversee large and complex wholesale lending segments. You will promote a strong credit culture, align risk and profitability, and provide thought leadership across LOB leadership, product partners, and credit delivery teams.

You will exercise prudent credit judgment, stay current with evolving laws and market trends, and manage portfolio risk while presenting updates to senior executives and risk committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated leadership ability.
• Solid accounting/financial analysis skills.
• Widespread financial credit risk and regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior credit risk officer for large and complex segments within wholesale lending or specialty lines of businesses.
• Promote consistency of Bank's credit culture and lending strategies throughout the organization.
• Communicate effectively as a thought leader to support development and maintenance of a strong credit culture.
• Partner with segment leaders to develop, communicate, and execute credit strategies, limits, and policies.
• Stay abreast of laws, regulations and risk management techniques to ensure compliance and best practices.
