Job summary

Centric Software is seeking a Senior Credit & Collections Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting team. You will manage global accounts receivable and credit risk in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely collections and accurate reporting.

This role emphasizes collaboration, process improvement, and data-driven decision making. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable handling cross-functional projects with Billing, Sales, Legal, and Customer Success teams.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of collections processes, AR reconciliation, and credit risk assessment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, basic formulas) and strong analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective operation of collections activities and manage aging reports.
• Escalate collection concerns to Sr. Collections Manager as needed.
• Research and resolve past-due invoices and discrepancies promptly.
• Reconcile customer accounts including invoices, credits, unapplied cash and overpayments.
• Advise customers on payment arrangements and strategies for resolution.
• Respond to inquiries related to invoices, disputes and payment status.
• Maintain records of collection efforts and communications.
• Generate AR reporting/analytics and support audits for Trade AR.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and support month-end close for Trade AR.
• Prepare journal entries related to Trade AR.
• Conduct credit evaluations using D&B and summarize findings with recommendations.
• Collaborate with Billing, Sales, Legal, and Customer Success to resolve issues.
• Recommend improvements to credit and collections processes.
• Provide backup coverage within the global team.
