The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Credit/Collections and AR; this position requires strong communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate AR records onsite five days a week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Credit, Collections and/or Accounts Receivable experience.
• Experience reviewing AR aging and analyzing customer accounts.
• Cash applications/payment posting experience.
• Ability to evaluate account status and credit limits and make sound decisions regarding credit holds.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience working within an ERP system.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience accepted.
• Ability to work onsite in Suwanee, GA five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage collection activity on past-due customer accounts through phone and email communication.
• Review accounts receivable aging and proactively address outstanding balances.
• Analyze customer accounts, open balances and payment issues.
• Review orders on credit hold and determine appropriate action based on credit limits and account status.
• Work with cash applications and post customer payments.
• Research and resolve customer questions related to invoices, statements and payments.
• Provide invoice and statement copies as requested.
• Maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
• Identify collection issues requiring escalation and communicate appropriately with internal teams.
• Provide professional, customer-focused communication while effectively managing collection activity.
• Perform additional related duties as needed.
