Job summary

GardenCore is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our accounting team and work onsite at the Atlanta, GA office. You will build cooperative relationships with customers and sales, handle collections, and process refunds and adjustments.

The role requires at least 2 years in AR, an Associate's degree or equivalent, strong Excel and MS Office skills, and excellent organizational abilities. You will contribute to monthly AR reporting and help ensure accurate month-end close for AR.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable role.
• Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may substitute for education requirements.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and proficiency with MS Office.
• High degree of comfort with technology and multiple applications.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts.
• Previous accounting experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and sales.
• Collection calls/correspondence in a fast-paced accounting department.
• Prepare customer refunds and account adjustment requests.
• Resolve discrepancies and short pays.
• Monitor financial integrity of accounts receivable accounts.
• Research AR inquiries promptly.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and sales to handle customer requests.
• Follow up effectively with customers regarding AR.
• Prepare monthly AR reports and monitor receivables turnover.
• Support month-end close processes for Accounts Receivable.
