Job summary

Stillman Bank Corp NA is seeking a Credit Analyst III to independently underwrite complex commercial relationships and mentor junior staff. You will evaluate repayment capacity, structure credits, and monitor material risks across CRE, operating businesses, and agriculture.

The role requires strong credit judgment, collaboration with lenders and customers, and adherence to bank policies. This hybrid/in-office position offers growth within a respected regional bank.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or related field; equivalent experience allowed.
• Minimum five years of commercial credit analysis or underwriting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, tax returns, and loan documents.
• Advanced analytical skills in financial modeling, stress testing, and risk rating.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for presentations to committees.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex underwriting requests, renewals, and annual reviews with deadlines.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, ownership structures, and related entities.
• Evaluate repayment sources and guarantor liquidity with projections and downside scenarios.
• Assess collateral quality, marketability, and coverage across assets and appraisals.
• Present well-supported credit recommendations to approvers and committees.
• Mentor Credit Analysts I and II and develop training materials.
