Job summary

Toptal is seeking a Creative Operations Manager to own the operational side of the creative process from intake through delivery. You will partner with Creative Leads and stakeholders to define projects, set priorities, and ensure timely, on-brief delivery.

The role emphasizes problem solving, collaboration, and bringing structure to complexity while identifying workflow improvements to boost efficiency across the Creative Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of project or creative operations experience.
• Experience managing multiple creative projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong understanding of creative workflows and ability to translate business needs into clear project plans.
• Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Jira, Trello, Monday.com.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary operations partner for complex creative projects across channels.
• Own project planning and execution from intake through final delivery with roadmaps and milestones.
• Review briefs and manage weekly intake process to ensure projects are clearly defined and scoped.
• Balance needs and deadlines with cross-functional stakeholders; identify risks and dependencies.
• Facilitate project kickoffs and weekly status meetings with clear documentation and next steps.
• Provide regular project updates and visibility into priorities and health, addressing blockers proactively.
• Escalate high-impact issues with context and recommended solutions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiencies across the team.
• Contribute to a culture of accountability, collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
