Job summary

Toptal, a global network of top talent, is seeking a Senior Creative Operations Manager to own the operational side of the creative process from intake through delivery. You will partner with Creative Leads and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure projects are well-defined, prioritized, and delivered on time in alignment with briefs.

In a fast-paced, fully remote environment, you will bring structure to complexity, identify workflow improvements, and provide visibility into project health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of project or creative operations experience in advertising, design, or similar.
• Experience managing multiple creative projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong understanding of creative workflows and ability to translate business needs into actionable plans.
• Experience with project management platforms (Asana, Jira, Trello, Monday.com or similar).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-growing, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary operations partner for complex creative projects (ads, video, podcasts, social).
• Own project planning from intake to delivery with roadmaps, timelines, milestones, and status in PM tools.
• Review briefs with Creative Ops Director to ensure clear scope and readiness for kickoff.
• Balance needs across Creative and cross-functional stakeholders; identify risks and dependencies.
• Facilitate kickoffs and weekly status meetings; document deliverables, owners, timelines, decisions.
• Provide regular project updates on priorities and health; escalate blockers with context.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Cultivate accountability, collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
