Job summary

JLL in Chicago, IL is seeking a Sr. Transaction Manager to oversee complex lease transactions and lead on account teams. You will manage client relationships, project reporting and strategic planning, while mentoring junior staff to deliver value for industrial occupier accounts.

You will coordinate with analysts, deliver analytics dashboards, and ensure transactions align with client objectives and company standards across multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 7-10 years of relevant work experience with at least 4-8 years as a Transaction Manager, CRE experience.
• Seasoned transaction management experience with proven skills in contract review and lease/purchase and sale negotiations.
• Experience working with corporate clients to achieve real estate objectives.
• Solid understanding of financial and accounting impacts.
• Strong, verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Coach and develop junior teammates to reach full potential, lead a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic client meetings and manage transaction responsibilities.
• Oversee regular reporting, budgets, cash flow forecasts, memorandum documenting significant client issues and strategic planning.
• Negotiate favorable economic terms and document lease and purchase/sale agreements.
• Build customized reports, dashboards and analytics specific to account team usage.
• Coordinate with clients and team members to resolve issues and drive transaction progress.
