Job summary

Aimetrony is seeking a senior commercial real estate appraiser to lead and support our commercial appraisal team in the New York area. You will collaborate with colleagues to review and prepare appraisals, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to clients, while guiding junior staff through complex assignments.

The ideal candidate will hold a NYS General Appraiser license (or be in process), possess strong knowledge of USPAP, and have deep insight into the Metropolitan New York real estate

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in commercial appraisals or related fields.
• Thorough understanding of USPAP and regulatory guidelines governing real property valuations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to convey complex concepts clearly.
• Knowledgeable about metropolitan New York real estate markets and trends.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Suite.
• Familiar with RealQuest, CoStar, and MLS databases.
• Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Administrative experience supporting a busy team.

Responsibilities

• Review reports for accuracy and conformance.
• Track client deliverable requirements and client comment history.
• Support appraisers to complete reports and deliver to clients.
• Set protocols relating to appraisal regulatory guidelines and methodology.
• Assist in improving overall quality control and team proficiency.
