Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school is required.
• Active membership in good standing of at least one state bar is required.
• At least 4 years of attorney experience in a law firm, in‑house legal department, or government agency is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day business counsel to the Savings and Marketing teams within the retail bank.
• Partner with Compliance and Risk to drive comprehensive support.
• Collaborate with other legal experts to ensure consistency and best practices across Capital One.
• Advise MAPS on product and marketing strategy and supervise related litigation matters.
• Coordinate with outside counsel to manage matters efficiently.
• Review and enhance policies, procedures, and customer communications.
